Manuela Carmena

I received a call from Juanjo Moreno, director of YOROKOBU magazine, offering me the chance to do a photo report with Manuela Carmena. We set off and organised the shooting in the children’s clothing and toy shop Zapatelas, which is located in Calle Manuela Malasaña in Madrid and which Manuela opened to help women prisoners in jail and unemployed people as a professional alternative.

Manuela Carmena is a labour lawyer, judge emeritus and politician who was mayor of Madrid from June 2015 to June 2019.
